Is there a bugzilla (or other tool) database that mere mortals can have (read-only) access to for bind?

ISC has two bug tracking systems. The Kea project has an open bug database, integrated with the Trac wiki at  Anyone may register for a log-in to that database, and there is public read-only access.

BIND and ISC DHCP use a semi-public bug database.  Users may submit bug reports and small patches to the database via email, and update those bug reports by replying to the email they receive from the bug tracker.  (the email address is, or for feature suggestions)

Those issues marked as public are viewable in the BIND and DHCP database for those without log-ins, (navigate to and choose the GUEST login option).  The ISC DHCP and BIND 9 bug database includes non-public reports for several reasons.  Some bug reports contain proprietary information from the submitter. The database may also contain unverified reports or unfixed bugs which could turn out to be security vulnerabilities.  We don't want to inadvertently disclose either of these.  However, since we opened this database to public view in the summer of 2017, we are trying to make open disclosure the default, and only block access to issues that need to be handled confidentially. Submitters can request confidentiality when submitting an issue, by emailing to or

ISC offers log-ins to trusted technical contributors, including operating system packagers. Those log-ins allow viewing and editing ones' own previously-submitted reports. Request a log-in to manage your issues by emailing to
